Slipstick By Wilkinson

Slipstick is the go to product for handling tuning instability issues caused by friction on string instruments.  Ideal for nut, bridge, saddle, vibrato posts, vibrato mounting screws, string trees, open machine-heads, tuneamatic bridges, tight gearing, vibrato arm threads and much more.

Its non greasy compound is safe on all guitar finishes including cellulose lacquers.

Created by the Wilkinson Design Team Slipstick has been tested in the field by many guitar techs and artists including;

  • Thomas Blug
  • Jennifer Batten (Solo artist, Jeff Beck, Michael Jackson)
  • Frank Falbo (Steve Stevens Guitar Technician)
  • Andy Wood
  • Pete Thorn
  • Arielle
  • Teddy Kumpel (Joe Jackson)
  • Phil X
  • Joe Perry
  • Dave Burrluck (Guitarist Magazine)
  • Dean Zelinsky (legendary Guitar Builder, Founder Dean Guitars)

In the spirit of a lip balm, slipstick is applied by first twisting the bottom dial which propels the dry lubricant out of the tube.  Rub slipstick around and in the component causing an issue, remove excess with a dry cloth then your good to go.
