Art Specs and Templates

Art Specs

We prefer vector based artwork when possible such as .eps, .ai and .pdf files. When supplying vector files please make sure all fonts are converted to outlines, and if possible please supply the file with 2mm bleed. (In Adobe Illustrator: Type > Create Outlines).

We also accept .jpg images as well as .eps  and .psd files. Please make sure your files are high resolution 300dpi, and at least 10cm square in size.

Photographic artwork should be supplied in CMYK format if possible.

Please note: Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents are not acceptable.

The maximum acceptable file size for your artwork is 15MB.

If you would like to add text on your picks, but do not have graphic software to do so, please choose a font from this website: www.dafont.com and let us know what you'd like written in the 'Extra Order Details' text box when ordering.

If you require specific PMS colours please type the information in the 'Extra Order Details' box.

For Pantone colours we require the Pantone C Solid Coated colour number. If colour accuracy is essential, (for example, to meet Brand Guidelines), we advise you to please contact us via email prior to ordering. Pick material options, depending upon your artwork design, a sample pick colour match, are amongst the items we can advise you and discuss, in order that the best possible product is produced and it meets your exact requirements.

When a custom pick order is placed, we always email you a digital print proof of your pick design for you to approve, prior to printing your picks, to ensure that your picks always meet your exact requirements.

We make every effort to accurately produce the colours from your artwork and images in the digital proofs and onto your custom picks. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitors display of any colour will be accurate. Please give us as much information as you can when placing your order.

When you are creating your pick design, please keep in mind that a pick is only about 3 centimetres square. Fine lines and small text may come out slightly blurry. If you are unsure if your artwork will look good on a pick, simply upload what you have, and when we produce your digital print proof we can advise you. Alternatively you can contact us via email and send us your artwork to view in advance.

If you would like a custom pick design produced prior to ordering, there is a £5 charge, which will then be deducted from your order. Please contact us for more information.
